Mother’s House

Documentary | 2024 | 12’23

Mother’s House tracks the decades-long story of a woman’s vision of the Virgin Mary at a shrine in Turkey. The experience was so profound that now, nearly 75 years later the woman’s daughter continues to shepherd her story in a uniquely elaborate fashion.

The film was shot in 2023, and premiered at the Vermont Film & Folklore Festival in 2024. It is not currently available to watch online and will make up one section of Index Drift 1, my ongoing anthology series.

This films was produced independently by myself. I’m still actively screening this film and would welcome any opportunities to do so. Get in touch if you would like to show it.
